If you are interested in finding out more about Spring Lake Ranch we would be happy to talk to you about a possible admission. Call us at (802) 492-3322 and ask for Admissions.

To help with our decision about whether the Ranch is appropriate for you, we ask that you have your psychiatric records released from any hospitals or therapeutic programs you have been in and from any psychiatrist or therapist with whom you have worked. It is also very helpful to have a written summary of your history as you or a family member sees it.

After we have received your records, we ask you to come for a 24-hour visit at the Ranch. This will give you an opportunity to observe and take part in a typical day-work crews, morning meeting and activities, meals and a night in one of the residences. On the second day of your visit, one of us will meet with you and your family to evaluate whether the Ranch offers the kind of opportunity you are seeking. A mutual decision can be made at this time or soon after.

Costs

Our fee includes private room and board, program expenses and psychiatric coverage. The fee does not include medication, any necessary medical or dental expense, or personal expenses.

Some insurance companies will cover our fee, but this changes frequently. We will try to assist you with inquiries. Medicare/Medicaid does not cover residential programs. Scholarship assistance, made possible by donor support, is available to residents depending on family financial circumstances.
