Find the Right Program for You or Loved One
Our team is dedicated to making sure our program is a perfect match for you or a loved one. If you are interested in finding out more about Spring Lake Ranch Therapeutic Community, we encourage you to call our Admissions office any time at 802-492-3322.

If you are not sure if this is the right place for you, call anyway. We have a great deal of experience in helping people to decide what will be best for their next step, and we can give you more details about the program and the Ranch philosophy.

Admissions Process
As part of the Admissions process, we ask you to download the Application for Admission, and fax it to us or return by mail; this will begin the process. In addition, we would like to have any past records from hospitals, therapists, psychiatrists, or other information you think would be helpful. Please sign the appropriate releases and have them sent to us by fax at 802-492-3331.

It is also valuable for us to have a summary of your history, written by yourself or a family member. It need not be detailed; a simple chronology will suffice.

Once we have received the forms, we can arrange for 24 hour visit. There is no charge for the visit. During the visit you will have the opportunity to try some work crews and see what a normal day at the Ranch is like, including some of our fabulous meals. We encourage you to talk with Ranch residents and staff, and get all your questions answered. Admissions staff will interview you on the second day, and you can make a decision to stay on, or return at a future time.

If you’re coming with parents, family members, or other support people, their role is also important in the visit. They will join us for the tour, and get an orientation to the program. There might be paperwork to sign, and loose ends to tie up. They should plan to stay in the area and join us again for a family interview the second day.

The routine and work made sense. It helped to begin to sort out what was real and what was not real. This was the first place I ever got dirt under my nails.
